The signs of the Zodiac (An introduction to astrology)
A journey through the twelve signs of the zodiac. This illustrated talk is perfect as an introduction and explaination of the real maning of the star signs most people refer to, when reading a general media horoscope column. Each image in the talk displays, symbolism, colours, dates of influence and descriptive images of the way the sign functions. The learning outcome as well as having fun at the expense of the positive and negative traits, is to identify the element of each sign and how it is expressed uniquely. A brief look at the astronomical zodiac and a birth chart is included. It will make you relise there is more to astrology than meets the eye.
The astrology of health
This talk highlights zodiac man, the connection between the signs of the zodiac and a predisposition to specific health issues. Each sign is described with a range of health problems and how these can be highlighted in the birth (natal) chart. It also looks at the early development of medicine with respect of ''The Four Humours.'' A system from medieval times based on elemental diagnosis. This also gives indicators to the personality traits and how to treat any imbalances. It is astonishing to hear how many Taurus people have throat issues!
The phases of the Moon
This talk describes in detail the phases of the moon and how which moon phase you were born under adds yet another layer of complexity to your personality. Sometimes in conflict with natural emotional behaviour and responses to situations. From being your own private New Moon person to perhaps a Full Moon person, the talk and it's images add further to the cycles of monthly and annual life and what might be called our natural state. How to identify and time the lunar cycle is included. If you are not yet in tune with the moon...you may well start to be.

This talk looks at all the moon sign positions of the zodiac. Each one is described in the way the moon influences your emotions especially as a child. It also looks at the perception of your mother based on that moon sign position. Not the moon sign position your mother felt in nurturing you. Emphasis is given to the strengths and weakness of the parental traits in the way you were brought up and how they might affect you in adult life. The talk offers solutions to reparenting and nurturing your own inner child and redefining your relationship with your mother figure.
Chiron

The story of the mythological centaur Chiron. Teacher of the ancient Greek hero's in the arts, war, medicine and more. He was mortally wounded and yet could not die. The talk reveals where Chiron is in the birth (natal) chart indicates the nature of the wound we carry. The way it affects you today and it's potential origin, but how to reconcile it's meaning in the future. Chiron, one of the solar systems asteroids; It's elliptical orbit brings it close to Earth in a few years time. In 1977 it's last appearance, brought the so called New Age of healing and therapy techniques. However it also brings a warning to us all, to look after our planet or a catastrophe will follow, what will the next warning sign be?
