My name is Philip Heaton i have had a passion for and been actively practicing and researching this subject for forty years now. Over twenty five years working professionally with individual clients throughout the UK and worldwide.   Also reaching hundreds of people new to astrology by giving talks and lectures to groups and societies, many well known perhaps to yourselves.

My initial interest led to being self taught, however only by testing from my peers would i advance in knowledge and ability. I have studied with the Faculty of Astrological Studies London.

Astrology's basic symbolism is the same for all of us when learning, however it's interpretation and practise, especially in regard to a client or friend, works through the personality lens of the individual astrologer.

In 1999 i devised and presented a beginners course to purely identify every factor seen on an astrological chart, without the need to move into interpretation or advanced techniques. These are covered once a student understands the basics. 

Of all of astrology's disciplines the absolute beginner is to me the most important. To see someone find the keys to their personality and life, is a privilege.

I hold a City and Guilds Adult Further Education Certificate, which has allowed me to present astrology in colleges and local authority  adult learning initiatives . My Bsc. Hons in Human Geography and a Post graduate Diploma in International Relations add to my understanding of human nature.
